Over the past several years, competitors to the Twice the Ice Ice House have come on the market with most of them making pretty lofty claims about their capacities for vending ice.  In the real world, customers don't buy a bag of ice every four minutes 24 hours a day.  Instead, your selling day is 14-16 hours and you have to be ready when customers walk up and put their money in.  The larger bins in the Ice House and Ice Hut help them handle the peak loads when their comparably sized competitors sell out. All the customer understands is that they couldn't get the ice they needed when they need it.  I have looked at these competitors and their claims and each time I remain both convinced and glad that I chose IHA for my ice vending business.
